In this week, i sent my emails off to the game companies asking them for permission for being able to interview a staff member, i received positive feedback from most of the emails but i did not receive any response from 2 companies, however i have confirmed 2 interviews and one of them is still waiting confirmation, The interviews will allow for different opinions and specialist knowledge on video games, as they are working in the industry of video games and so would know more about it, The interviews will also allow a break for the constant flow of information that i will be giving about video games over the years starting in the 1950's until the present day, the interviews will mix up the documentary and make it more interesting as they just do not have to listen to me. Also we done focus groups for our documentaries, so that we could receive feedback and shape our documentary according to the feedback that we received from our peers to make it seem more professional and of a good standard. The focus group activity allowed me to receive feedback and try and correct things that i didn't think of and also enlightened me int he way that i am going to structure and do my documentary.
